Our latest exhibition Take ( ) at face value explores various aspects of modern Korean society through formats of contemporary art underpinning the stereotypes and bias that evolve around us. Spanning mixed media, photography, performance and painting, this exhibition will question the universal concepts that are revealed to us at face value.
2 performances, tied in with the exhibition were presented in partnership with our centre and 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art and West Space.

‘Ride the Korean Wave!’ is a special education event for students of all ages. The Korean Cultural Centre(KCC) visits schools that teach the Korean Language within their curriculum or have expressed a keen interest in the Korean culture. The KCC has hosted the Ride the Korean Wave! since 2013 and will visit schools within New South Wales this year!
In a special Sydney Writers’ Festival event, bestselling author Min Jin Lee talks to Anton Enus about her acclaimed novels (Pachinko and Free Food for Millionaires), her literary career and her own immigrant experience as a Korean–American.
