독일의 성서(신약)학자 게르트 타이센 (Gerd Theissen, 1943 ~ )
게르트 타이센 (Gerd Theissen, 1943년 4월 24일 ~ )은 독일의 개신교 신학자이자 신약학자이다. 2005년 기준으로 그는 하이델베르크 대학교의 신약학 교수였다.

1943년생. 신약학자. 1968년 독일 본 대학교에서 히브리서 연구로 박사 학위 (Dr.theol)를 받고 1972년 원시 그리스도교의 기적 이야기에 관한 연구로 하빌리타치온을 취득했다.
덴마크 코펜하겐 대학교 교수를 거쳐 독일 하이델베르크 대학교에서 신약학 교수로 활동했으며 현재 하이델베르크 대학교 명예교수다.
글래스고 대학교, 세인트 앤드류스 대학교, 스트라스부르 대학교 등 7개 대학교에서 명예박사 학위를 받았으며 영국 학술원에서 성서 연구 분야에서 커다란 공헌을 남긴 이에게 수여하는 버킷 메달을 받았다.
복음서 연구에 사회-수사학적 방법으로 접근한 대표적 신약학자로 꼽힌다.
