스콧 모리슨 총리, 연방 새 내각 2기 발표
스콧 모리슨 연방 총리는 연방 총선 승리 후 새 2기 내각 각료 명단(일부 겸직)을 발표했다.
이번 내각은 에너지, 환경, 내무, 인적 자원, 원주민 문제, 노사 관계 등을 포함한 변화에 맞춰진 것으로 보인다.
23개 내각에는 7명의 여성이 포함되며, 처음으로 여성 농업장관을 만나게 된다.
Centrelink, Medicare 및 Child Support 등의 업무를 관할하는 Human Services부는 서비스 제공의 효율성과 통합을 향상시키고 기술 및 디지털 애플리케이션을 최대한 활용하기 위해 NSW 서비스를 모델로 한 Services Australia라는 새로운 구조로 대체 될 예정이다. 현재 가족 및 사회 서비스라고 불리는 복지서비스가 계속 될 것이다.
모리슨 총리는 새 각료들에게 전달된 메시지의 핵심은 정부 서비스 제공에 대한 성과를 높일 것이라며, 그 우선순위로 ▷규제 및 관료주의적 장애물에 대한 혼잡 제거 ▷기술을 보다 잘 활용하며 ▷서비스 제공을 보다 잘 통합 할 것 ▷정부 서비스에 보다 쉽게 접근하고 처리할 수 있도록 하는 것 ▷원주민부서를 원주민에게 맡기는 것 ▷노사 관계는 법무부 장관과 함께 할 것이며 호주 건축 및 건설위원회도 AGD 클러스터로 이동 ▷에너지 및 환경 전반에 걸쳐 일부 재구성 작업이 진행된 것이며, 에너지는 배출감축과 호주의 2030년 배출 목표를 충족시킬 것 등이다.
