호주의 킹스 버스데이 (King’s Birthday)는 영국 국왕의 탄생일을 기념하는 호주의 법정 공휴일이다. 엘리자베스 2세 여왕 서거 이후 찰스 3세가 즉위하면서 퀸즈 버스데이에서 킹스 버스데이로 명칭이 변경되었다. 실제 국왕의 생일과는 무관하게 각 주와 테리토리별로 지정된 날짜에 휴일로 보낸다.
주별 지정 일시와 특징
호주의 대부분 주 (NSW, VIC, SA 등)는 매년 6월 둘째 주 월요일을 킹스 버스데이로 지정하고 있다 (단, 서호주 및 일부 지역은 다르게 적용될 수 있다).
해당 주 연휴: 월요일이 공휴일이 되면서 주말을 포함해 3일 연휴를 즐기게 된다.
영업 안내: 대다수의 대형 슈퍼마켓과 소매점은 정상 영업하지만, 일부 지역에 따라 단축 영업을 하거나 휴무할 수 있다.
연휴 기간 주요 사항 (NSW 기준) : 집중 단속 및 이중 벌점 (Double Demerits) – 연휴 기간에는 과속, 음주운전, 휴대전화 사용, 안전벨트 미착용 등에 대해 벌점이 두 배로 부과되는 등 경찰의 집중 교통 단속이 실시된다. 안전 운전에 각별히 유의해야 한다.

- 34 awards in the Military Division
- 149 Meritorious awards
- 63 Distinguished and Conspicuous awards
