시드니한국교육원, 2014년 호주 교장단 한국방문연수 준비
시드니한국교육원에서는 호주 초·중등학교장을 대상으로 한국의 문화와 발전상을 체험하는 2014 호주 교장단 한국방문연수를 4월 13일부터 22일까지 실시한다. 이번 연수의 목적은 호주 초·중등학교장들에게 한국의 역사·문화 및 한국의 발전상을 알게 하여 호주 초·중등학교에서의 한국어 채택을 확대하기 위함이며 동시에 한국과의 인적 네트워크를 형성하여 향후 한·호간 학생교류 등 교육분야 인적 교류를 위한 토대를 형성하는데 연수의 중점을 두고 있다, 연수 프로그램은 산업시설 견학, 한국 문화체험, 역사 유적지 답사, 기관방문, 학교방문 등으로 구성되어 있다. 왕복 항공료는 참가자 부담이나 한국 체류비 전액은 시드니한국교육원에서 부담한다. 마감은 2월 28일까지이다.

2014 Australian Principals’ Korean Study Tours
The Australian Principals’ Korean Study Tours (APKST) has been running since July 2010 and is intended to help facilitate Australian principals’engagement with the history, culture and people of Korea. Originally authorised by Mr Michael Coutts-Trotter, a former Director-General of the NSW Department of Education & Communities (DEC), approximately 65 principals from the NSW Department of Education Communities and VIC Department of Education and Early Childhood Development now participated in the program. The 2014 APKST will be held during the Easter school holiday period. The details of the program are as follows:
§ PERIODS AND CITIES
○April 13(Sunday) ~ April 22(Tuesday) 2014
○Gongju, Sejong, Daejeon, Cheonan, Busan, Gyeongju, Pohang, Asan, Youngin, Paju, Seoul
§ THE HOST ORGANIZATION
○The Australian Principals’Korean Study Tours has been developed and hosted by Korean Education Centre –Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Sydney.
§ PARTICIPANTS
○12~14 Australian Principals from primary and secondary schools in Australia.
§EXPENSES
○The inland expenses will be provided by the Ministry of Education in Korea (For example, full-board, single room, transfers, guides, entrance fees and interpretor etc)
○The return airfare and travel insurance are the participants’ responsibility
