“하나님 나라는 바로 당신 곁에 있답니다.”
The Kingdom of God is right next to you.
브라질 근처의 바다에서 배 한 척이 전복되었습니다. 그 결과로 대부분의 승객들이 익사했습니다. 단지 아홉 명만이 생존하였다고 합니다. Somewhere on the sea near Brazil, a ship capsized. Most of its passengers drowned as the result. It is said that only 9 of them survived.
그들은 작은 구명보트에 옮겨 타고 2주 동안 바다 위를 표류하였습니다. 배고픔은 참을 수 있었으나 갈증을 견딜 수가 없었습니다. 배 안의 사람들 몇 명이 쓰러져 의식을 잃었으며, 한 사람 씩 죽어나갔습니다. They moved into a small lifeboat and drifted about on the sea for two weeks. They could overcome hunger but they could not stand thirst. Some of the people in the boat collapsed and lost their consciousness, and died one after another.
보트는 1주일 후에 발견 되었고 오직 세 사람 만이 살아남았다고 합니다. 후에 놀라운 사실 하나가 밝혀졌습니다. 그 지역에서는 2주 간의 우기 동안에 그 곳의 브라질 해의 짠 바닷물이 신선한 민물로 바뀐다는 것입니다. 근처의 산악에서 흘러 내려오는 거대한 양의 빗물이 짠 바닷물을 마실 수 있는 신선한 물로 바꾸어주기 때문입니다. The boat was found a week later and only three of them survived. A shocking fact was found later. During two weeks of rainy season in the area, the saltwater of the Brazilian sea there turns into nice freshwater. Huge amount of rainwater flowing down from the mountains nearby changes the salty seawater into drinkable freshwater.
문제는 구명 보트에 있었던 사람들이 그것을 알지 못했다는 것입니다. 그들은 시원한 식수 위를 3주 동안이나 표류하고 있었는데도 아무도 그것을 알지 못했습니다. The problem was, the people in the lifeboat didn’t know that. They were drifting around on the cool drinkable water for three weeks but none of them knew about it.
하나님의 나라는 어느 곳에든 존재합니다. 하나님은 하늘도 다스리시고 땅도 다스리십니다. 하나님이 주님이 되시는 모든 곳이 하나님의 나라입니다. The Kingdom of God is everywhere. He rules in heaven and rules on earth as well. Every place where God is the Lord is His Kingdom.
하나님 나라는 하늘에만 있는 것이 아닙니다. 하나님의 나라는 언제나 당신이 닿을 수 있는 곳에 있습니다. The kingdom of God is not only in heaven. The kingdom of God is always reachable to you.
