“예수님은 주기 위하여 오셨다. Jesus came to give.”
도날드 트럼프는 미국에서 가장 유명한 기업인 중의 한 사람이다. Donald Trump is one of the most famous businessmen in the US.
그는 2조2천600억 원의 순 자산을 갖고있다. He has a net worth of 2 billion US dollars.
어느 날 귀가 하는 길에 트럼프의 리무진이 고장이 났다. One day, Trump’s limousine broke down on the way home.
한 자동차 정비사가 멈춰서 그의 리무진이 출발하도록 도움을 주었다. An auto mechanic stopped to help the limo running.
그 정비사는 그의 서비스에 대해 돈 받기를 거절했다. The mechanic refused to accept any money for his services
현재 실업자였음에도 불구하고 말이다. though he was unemployed at the moment.
다음 날 트럼프는 그 정비공의 아내에게 꽃과 공증된 서신 한 장을 보내왔다. Next day, Trump sent flowers to the mechanic’s wife and a certified letter.
편지에는 그들의 주택 대출금이 완불되었노라고 써 있었다. The letter said that their mortgage had been paid in full.
정말 많은 이들이 경제적 보장을 원하지만 쉽게 일어나지 않는다. So many people want to have financial security but it doesn’t happen easy.
심지어 트럼프도 한때에 완전한 파산을 경험했던 적이 있었다. Even Trump once has experienced a total bankruptcy.
많은 이들이 부동산 투자에 있어서 다음 세 가지를 강조한다. Many people stress the following three factors in real estate investments.
첫째도 위치, 둘째도 위치, 그리고 셋째도 위치다. Location. Location. Location!
재미있게도 예수께서도 진정한 투자에 관해 위치의 중요성을 강조하신다. Quite interestingly, Jesus also emphasizes the importance of ‘location’ about the truthful investments.
“너희를 위하여 닳치 않는 지갑을 만들라. Make for yourselves purses that will never wear out.
그리고 가난한 자들에게 주어라. Give it to the poor.
너희 마음의 보물들을 저들에게 주어라. Give treasures of your heart to them.
그리하면 하늘과 땅에서 보장을 받으리라. And you will be secure in heaven as well as on earth.”
예수님은 우리에게 ‘생명’을 주기 위해 이 땅에 오셨다. Jesus came to this planet to give us ‘LIFE’.
그리고 주님은 우리가 현명한 투자가가 되기를 요구하시면서 항상 ‘위치’를 역설하신다. And He asks us to be a wise investor and always stresses on ‘location’.
그 위치는 이 세상이 아니라 하늘이다. The location is not in this world, but in heaven.
정말 현명한 투자가는 영원한 부동산에 투자를 할 것이다. A real wise investor will invest on eternal properties.
그리고 주님은 우리에게 최고의 노하우를 주셨다. And Jesus gave us the best ‘know-how’.
“주라. 그리하면 받으리라. Give and you will receive.”
