앤서니 C. 티슬런 / 앤터니 C. 티슬턴 (Anthony C. Thiselton, 1937년~)은 영국 성공회 사제이며 신학자이며 학자이다. 그는 기독교 신학, 성경연구, 종교철학 그리고 해석학에 관한 수많은 책을 저술하였다.

그는 킹스 컬리지에서 석사, 쉐필드 대학에서 박사를 받았다. 해석과 교리학에서 세계적인 권위자이다. 한글 번역서로 『앤서니 티슬턴의 성경해석학 개론』, 『기독교 교리와 해석학』, 『해석의 새로운 지평 변혁적 성경읽기의 이론과 실제』가 있다.

현대 성서학계의 백과사전적 학자. 그의 연구는 현대 신학, 신약학, 종교 철학, 철학적 해석학을 아우른다. 영국 셰필드 대학교에서 철학박사 학위를, 더럼 대학교에서 신학박사 학위를 받았으며 그 후 세인트존스 칼리지, 노팅엄 대학교 등 여러 학교에서 가르쳤다. 잉글랜드 성공회 사제이기도 한 티슬턴은 노팅엄 대학교 신학대학 학장을 지냈으며, 2011년에 은퇴한 후에도 노팅엄 대학교 신학대학 교수 및 레스터 주교좌 교회 정경 신학자로 봉사했다. 잉글랜드 성공회 왕위 지명위원회, 신학 교육위원회, 교리위원회 등의 위원으로 활동했으며, 정부 위촉을 받아 인간수정배아관리국 활동에 관여했다. 영국 신학연구회 회장을 지냈으며, 2010년에는 영국학사원 회원으로 임명되었다.

티슬턴은 어릴 적 앓은 뇌수막염으로 “교구 목회에 필요한 독서를 할 수 없다”는 소견을 들을 정도로 눈이 좋지 않았지만 자신의 한계를 이겨 내며 크고 작은 책들을 저술했다. 우리 시대 중요한 신학자로 자리매김한 그는 신학과 철학, 해석학, 문학 이론, 사회학 등을 넘나드는 통합적 연구를 지향한다. 교회의 전통에 깊이 뿌리내린 성서학자이면서도 하이데거, 비트겐슈타인, 가다머, 리쾨르, 데리다 등의 현대 철학자와 몰트만, 판넨베르크 등의 현대 신학자를 연구함은 물론, 해방 신학, 여성 신학 등 현대 신학의 최신 주제에 대한 폭넓은 관심사를 두고 있다.

저서로는 『두 지평』 외에도 『해석의 새로운 지평』 『고린도전서』(이상 SFC출판부), 『성경해석학 개론』 『기독교 교리와 해석학』(이상 새물결플러스), 『살아 있는 바울』(기독교문서선교회), Systematic Theology(IVP 출간 예정), The First Epistle to the Corinthians (NICNT), Discovering Romans, Life After Death, A Concise Encyclopedia of the Philosophy of Religion, Doubt, Faith, and Certainty 등이 있다.
