이스트우드 공영주차장 (53-71 Rowe Street, Eastwood)이 지난 3월 중순 드디어 오픈했다. 당초 지난해 7월 완공예정이었으나 코로나19로 인한 록다운 등으로 완공이 지연됐다.
그동안 이스트우드 지역에 주차난으로 어려움을 겪어와 로위스트리트 공영주차장 오픈은 주차난 해소에 큰 도움이 될 듯하다. 주변 상가들도 주차장 오픈을 반기는 분위기다.
이스트우드 공영주차장은 146대 주차 공간, 2시간 무료 주차가 가능하며, 야간주차도 가능하다.
현대식 운영방식으로 번호판 자동인식방식이며, 장애인 전용 주차공간, 엘리베이터 운영, 24시간 CCTV 시시템 등이 운영되고 있다.
앞으로 이스트우드 상권 활성화와 이스트우드 방문객들에게 큰 편리함을 제공할 것으로 보인다.

A new multi-level short stay carpark has opened at 53-71 Rowe Street, Eastwood to address the parking demand for shoppers in the area and help boost the local economy.
The carpark has 146 spaces with entry/exit points via Rowe Street and exit only via Rowe Lane. Customers can enjoy two hours of free parking, with fees applying after two hours. The carpark features:

.Number plate recognition car park management system
.EV charging stations (Note: The EV charging stations are currently not operational but are expected to open very shortly. We apologise for any inconvenience.)

The carpark is open Monday-Sunday, 24 hours per day.
– How to pay for parking
Rowe Street East Carpark is a ticketless carpark. Your number plate will be scanned upon entry to the carpark and you can pay at one of the paystations located throughout.
Before you exit the carpark, enter your number plate details and insert your credit card or tap and go for easy payment.
