“Chapman의 성장하는 사역이란”
어떤 형태의 사역이라고 하나님께 달려있지만, 목회자가 자신의 사역을 성장시키기 위해 준수해야 하는 실질적인 단계들이 있다. though any kind of ministry is up to God, there are practical steps pastors can follow to grow their ministry.
1. 당신의 소명을 알며 비전을 잡아라. Know your call and catch the vision.
목회자가 전통주의에서 벗어날 수 있는 비전이 있으면 위대한 일들이 일어난다. 스스로를 박스 안에 가두어서는 안된다. If a pastor has the vision to break out of traditionalism, great things happen. Don’t lock yourself in a box.
2. 작은 일들에 충실하며 일관성을 지켜야 한다. Be faithful in the little things and be consistent.
신실하고 일관성이 있는 목회자는 매일 같은 일을 한다. 그래서 교인들이 그 목사를 신뢰할 수 있음을 알고 있다. 교인들은 자기들의 목사가 매주 수요일에는 이것을 하고 금요일에는 저것을 한다는 것을 알 때 자신감을 느낀다. A faithful and consistent pastor does the same things every day, so people know they can count on him. People feel confident when they know that their minister does this on Wednesdays and that on Fridays every week.
3. 성장하는 데에는 시간이 걸린다는 것을 깨달아라. Realize that it takes time to grow.
당신이 하고 있는 일이 하루 저녁에 이루어지는 것이 아님을 잊지 마라. 자신에게 물으라.
“내가 나의 왕국을 만들고 있는가, 아니면 진정으로 교인들을 도와주려고 하는가?” Do not forget that what you are doing is not fly-by-night. Ask yourself, “Am I building my own kingdom or really trying to help my people?”
4. 당신의 비전을 붙잡을 사람들을 주위에 배치하라. Out people around you who will catch your vision.
그 비전을 함께 성취할 다양한 은사를 갖은 팀을 만들어라. 그들에게 한 특정한 문제에 집중하여 팀으로 함께 해결할 것을 요구하라. 당신이 리더인 것을 늘 알라. 당신은 다른 이들이 보지 못하는 것들을 볼 수 있어야 한다. Build a team that has diverse talents to accomplish the vision together. Ask them to focus on a particular hurt and solve it together as a team. Always know that you are the team leader. You must see things that others cannot see.
5. 마지막으로, 지역사회로 하여금 당신의 교회는 사회를 위해 언제나 옳고 선한 일을 하고 있다는 것을 알리라. Lastly, make your local community know that your church is always doing a good and right thing for the society.
