바이올렛 이사벨 앤더슨 부인(Mrs Violet Isobel Anderson, 1885. 8. 25-?)
본명: 코스텔로(Costello), 부산 1922-1932; 마산 1932-33; 진주 1933-34
바이올렛 코스텔로는 스킵톤(Skipton)에서 태어났고 자랐다. 그녀는 1918년 5월 2일 조지 앤더슨과 결혼했다. 1919년 11월 28일 딸 진(Jean)이 태어났던 포트 오거스타에서 4년을 보낸 후에 온 가족은 한국으로 갔고 부산에서 살게 되었다. 아들 로이(Roy)는 1924년 9월 30일 그곳에서 태어났다.
앤더슨 부인은 부산에 유아복지ㆍ어린이 급식센터를 세웠고, 1931-32년에 나환자 부모의 미감염 아이들을 위한 숙소를 돌보는 책임을 맡았다. 조지 앤더슨 목사가 1952-54년 한국에 있는 동안 앤더슨 부인은 멜번의 집에서 가족들을 건사했다.

Violet Costello was born and grew up in Skipton. She married George Anderson on 2 May 1918. After four years in Port Augusta, where daughter Jean was born on 28 November 1919, the family moved to Korea and began life in Pusan. A son, Roy, was born there on 30 September 1924.
Mrs Anderson established an infant welfare and baby feeding centre in Pusan, and in 1931-32 had responsibility for the oversight of the home for untainted children of leper parents. When Rev George Anderson returned to Korea from 1952-54, Mrs Anderson maintained the family home in Melbourne.
